Placemaking at Milton Township Park
In May 2018, the Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS® received a $2,477 Placemaking Grant from the National Association of REALTORS® to help make Milton Township in Niles a better place.
The grant will be used to improve the park and playground area located next to the Township Hall. The township plans to purchase items, such as trash receptacles and bike racks to help keep the area clean and organized.
Mark VanDusen (Cressy & Everett Real Estate) was the REALTOR® sponsor for the Milton Township Park grant. VanDusen explained the reason for his endorsement stating, “Milton Township’s new park is in an exceptional location for the community to play, have picnics, and hold family events. As REALTORS® we can show the community that we care about how Milton Township’s new playground and picnic areas look by providing the trash receptacles and bike racks they need.”
